We are Excited to announce the Five main Charities we will be supporting this year. Although there will be other charities and voluntary groups that do benefit from Beacon 2019. As a Not-for-Profit event our surplus funds go directly to these groups.

“I don’t know what I would have done without the support of the Family hub in those early months” - a local Mum.

The First Steps Family hub has two centres based in Chalgrove and Watlington. The charity
took over from the children centres when government cuts meant they could no longer run.
They deliver services and support for families in the local area offering sessions for new
mums and dads and children between 0-5 years of age. Mental health issues for mothers and
dads of young children are unfortunately rising and the family hubs are somewhere everyone
is welcome. They provide a safe and fun environment where children can develop and learn
and parents can drink tea, eat cake, meet other parents and share.
