Beacon Festival is Oxfordshire’s leading sustainable family-friendly music festival, held in the heart of the Chilterns-- and we're back for 2024!

The festival is a not-for-profit event that provides one of the best locations to watch live music - not just in Oxfordshire - but probably in the UK.  In fact, we've recently been named as one of The Times' best small independent festivals.

Held at the idyllic Watlington Hill Farm Sanctuary, Beacon Festival is the perfect place to soak up stunning views across the Chiltern Hills whilst you dance away to everything from hard rock to ska, world rock to folk.

With Sparkle Vegan Village offering a wide range of plant-based food and local artisan traders, a dedicated KidsZone providing a range of workshops and sessions for all ages, a relaxing Feel-Good area  - and of course, a well-stocked real ale bar, cider bar and guest bars - Beacon is a festival that the whole family can enjoy.

Camping is available for tents and camper vans -- so why not make a weekend of it?

Join us for a wonderful Summer Solstice weekend, 21-22 June 2024.

Beacon Festival is Oxfordshire’s best family friendly music festival, held in Watlington each June.

If you have never been to a festival then this is the one to try. There is easy access to everything, no queues, and a wide variety of musical genres to cater for all tastes. If you are a seasoned festival-goer then we are probably already on your radar and if not, then where have you been?

When the sun starts setting over Oxfordshire late in the evening, Beacon Festival is the most magical place to be, with a drink in one hand some food in the other, friends and family laughing around you and a wonderful mix of music filling the night sky. Oh, and when the night does come we light the Beacon on top of hill which can be seen for miles.

If you fancy doing something to contribute to the event, then take a look at how to volunteer, apply to perform, explore our sponsorship opportunities, or apply to be a charity partner.
