A selection of volunteering roles need to be filled. If you are 18 and over and would like to join the Beacon team then have a look below! When you have read it through, if you would like to be a volunteer please fill in this form

In advance of the festival:
Main tasks could include:
You must be 16 or over to volunteer at Beacon Festival.
During the festival you will be provided with a hi viz vest.
Whilst volunteers are off duty they get to enjoy the festival free of charge
Volunteers will receive training on Thursday 14th June
Volunteers can count the hours towards college / university / back to work programmes – if you need forms signing off please bring them with you to the festival and these will be signed off on Sunday.
Volunteers can volunteer with their friends. Festival stewards will need to be vigilant, confident, flexible and committed to performing the required tasks and to be physically fit as they will be on their feet whilst on duty.
The roles are for the following shifts :
Weekend of Saturday/Sunday 9th/10th – help with site-building.
From Wednesday 13th – help with site building and decoration.
Friday 15th – 12noon-4.30pm, 4.30pm-8.30pm, 8.30pm-12.30am.
Saturday 16th – 9am-1pm, 1pm-5pm, 5pm-9pm, 9pm-12.30am.
Sunday 17th/Monday 18th/Tuesday 19st – help with site clear down.
All volunteers are requested to be on site at 6 pm on Thursday 14th June for a pre-festival briefing. This will include a full briefing, fire safety, site tour around the festival and an explanation into exactly what your role entails. Please let us know if you can’t make this, so that we can work around it
