We NEED you more than ever for 2022.
Do you enjoy local music?
Do you want to feel more a part of your community?
Can you give just 4 hours to our festival?
Then we need you!
You make our festival happen.
Being a local festival, we need our own community of festival lovers to help us raise funds for local charities, highlight local music, and support up and coming artists. Our family friendly festival needs you to join the team.
More about being a part of our team…
You must be 16 or over to volunteer at Beacon Festival. Or by working in a community group where an adult takes responsibility for you.
During the festival you will be provided with a hi viz vest to keep you safe and visible to the guests as being a person who can help.
Whilst volunteers are off duty they get to enjoy the festival free of charge with our amazing free ticket for a minimum 4 hours of contributions to the festival.
Shifts run throughout the weekend, but there are also roles around the lead up and the all-important pack down. The festival runs on a unique and special farm site so we need to return the farm to the animals safe and as it was.
Volunteers will receive a warm welcome and induction from the crew on the Thursday 16th June 2022.
Volunteers can count the hours towards college / university / back to work programmes – if you need forms signing off please bring them with you to the festival and these will be signed off on Sunday. We will also provide you with a certificate of attendance to support your CV.
Lets face it, a festival is better with a friend – we encourage volunteers to volunteer with their friends to make memories together. We would also like to hear from local groups who would like to be involved as a team – guides scouts and youth groups.
Festival stewards will need to be our eyes and ears, vigilant, confident, flexible and committed to supporting our festival and the shifts they sign up to. Some will need to be physically fit as they will be on their feet whilst on duty. If you need a specific role which involves seating or adaptions please let us know we are keen to include all and work to every ones strengths.
